Leadership from a Biblical Worldview, Part 1

Based on the work of Dr. Gerald Chester, this seminar will shatter worldly paradigms of leadership thinking and teach the powerful biblical principles from the Beyond Babel Model as presented in Dr. Chester's seminal work Beyond Babel.

The best practices of management theory will be analyzed against a biblical worldview. That which is aligned with biblical truth will be retained and that which is not biblical will be discarded.

Allow the filtering process of this teaching to help you gain a more biblical understanding of leadership, which will translate into greater success.

In January 2005, Dr. Chester published Beyond Babel, which presents a model for building world-class organization based on biblical values and principles. The book also provides the philosophical basis for the consulting practice of Strategies@Work, LLC.

In addition, Dr. Chester writes a monthly newsletter on topics pertaining to the application of biblical principles in the workplace.

Dr. Chester received the Christian Business Leadership Award presented by Dallas Baptist University and the CEO Institute, on June 16, 2005.

Dr. Chester has developed extensive expertise in strategic planning, business development, financial management, and business operations. His clients are owners, managers, and executives in a wide variety of businesses and organizations including manufacturing, distribution, technology, energy, retail, real estate development, construction, financial services, communications, and non-profits.

Prior to beginning his consulting practice, Dr. Chester honed his management skills during his tenure as president of his family’s business. The company’s technical skills, image, and reputation were greatly enhanced under his leadership and its annual revenue grew from $4 million to nearly $15 million.
